Paul Winston, Widely Acclaimed Digital Media Executive, Joins ITL as Chief Revenue Officer

MENLO PARK, CA — April 25, 2016 — Insurance Thought Leadership (ITL), a digital publishing platform that promotes thought leadership in insurance and risk management, today announced that noted digital media and marketing executive Paul Winston has joined ITL as its Chief Revenue Officer.

Mr. Winston, who has exhibited tremendous creativity throughout his career in digital media and in the delivery of marketing solutions, will help ITL integrate and align all revenue-related functions, including marketing, sales, customer support, pricing and product development. He will also leverage his relationships within the global insurance industry to attract new partners to the ITL platform.

Mr. Winston brings more than 25 years of experience at Crain Communications Inc., where he successfully identified the need for digital transformation of the B2B publishing industry and led initiatives to respond to the evolving digital needs of the business, execute product innovation and serve readers and advertising customers. He most recently was Associate Publisher and Online General Manager of Business Insurance, a global media brand serving the commercial insurance industry in print, online, mobile, events and research. Earlier in his career, he served as Editor and Editorial Director of Business Insurance for more than a decade, leading a team of journalists to produce relevant and timely news and market intelligence serving risk managers and the broader commercial insurance industry.

Mr. Winston also has served in roles to raise the insurance industry’s profile as a career opportunity and support its talent recruitment efforts. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Spencer Educational Foundation for five years and served 11 years as a member of the Advisory Board of the Katie School of Insurance and Risk Management at Illinois State University.
