Paul Carroll

Paul Carroll is the editor-in-chief of Insurance Thought Leadership.

He is also co-author of A Brief History of a Perfect Future: Inventing the Future We Can Proudly Leave Our Kids by 2050 and Billion Dollar Lessons: What You Can Learn From the Most Inexcusable Business Failures of the Last 25 Years and the author of a best-seller on IBM, published in 1993.

Carroll spent 17 years at the Wall Street Journal as an editor and reporter; he was nominated twice for the Pulitzer Prize. He later was a finalist for a National Magazine Award.

Gary Hagmueller

Gary has been a leader in the technology industry for over 21 years, with a deep focus on building AI & Machine Learning applications for the Enterprise market. Over the span of his career, he has raised over $1.2B in debt and equity and helped create over $7.5B in enterprise value through 2 IPOs and 4 M&A exits. Gary holds an M.B.A. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, where he was named Sheth Fellow at the Center for Communications Management. He also holds a B.A. with honors in Business from Arizona.

Dr. Paul Kim

Dr. Kim holds a doctor of medicine and a master of public health degrees from Loma Linda University and an M.B.A in healthcare administration from La Sierra University. He has also earned a number of professional certifications, including becoming board certified in preventive medicine and occupational medicine. He is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and the Western Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association. Additionally, Dr. Kim is the author of several published articles.

Nicole Corey

Nicole has been in the workers compensation industry more than 20 years as both an adjuster and a broker claims advocate. She holds designations in claim handling, risk management, and construction risk. She is currently the principal consultant and owner at CA Work Comp Advocacy. Deeply routed in an advocacy based approach to claims centered around communication, collaboration and compassion, she helps employers and injured workers navigate the sometimes confusing and complex claims process in California
